Good environmental management is central to the activities of Apollo Distribution Solutions. The company are actively seeking to limit the environmental impact of its business activities . The company recognises that the nature of it’s business will impact on the environment through natural resource use, emissions to air, noise and contributions to local congestion. We are committed to minimising these impacts wherever possible.

We will aim to minimize the negative contribution to the environment we make, in a sustainable manner, through the following objectives:

• The regular maintenance of our fleet vehicles to ensure their efficiency to help minimise air emissions.

• Taking account of environmental considerations when purchasing new company cars and fleet vehicles. We will keep abreast of new developments in fuel and vehicle technology and their applicability to our business. We aim to have over 60% of our vehicles running on the most emission efficient fuels within the next 3 years

We will promote awareness of Apollo Distribution Solutions’ Transport Policy amongst our employees. We will encourage good practice, seeking participation in green transport initiatives.

We will develop a green transport action plan to help us meet these objectives and review and report progress annually. This policy will be reviewed at least once every three years.
